How can Planning for the Future deliver the high quality well-designed homes we need?

Description

Recorded live, our speakers discussed the Government’s white paper "Planning for the Future" which sets out a vision of a planning system that delivers high-quality housing across England to support “levelling up”, as well as get first-time buyers on the property ladder. They discussed what is the role of design?   What can the built environment sector do to support high quality and good design?, what are the next steps for the sector and the Government to ensure good design is central to development?  How will the new system be able to stop poorly designed proposals being built? and How will the new system interact with the new Building Safety regime?
