Do you suffer from late payments?
Description
Late payment is an ongoing problem for businesses in almost every industry. For a small construction business, payment terms exceeding 30 days can mean the difference between survival and failure. Regrettably squeezing sub-contractors and suppliers is almost 'accepted practice'. The government has repeatedly threatened to freeze companies from new public contracts, unless they have paid 95% of all invoices within 60 days in their two previous six-month reporting periods.
In this webinar Cesare McArdle from Herrington Carmichael LLP discusses how late payment has hit the construction industry particularly hard and also discusses banned clauses and there is a Q&A session at the end.
