Bridget is the director responsible for the Academy, she is a mathematics graduate , a trained teacher and a former Principal of a Further Education College. Bridget is passionate about the Academy’s vision to lead and inspire excellence in the industry. She wants the Academy to offer strong and distinctive construction management courses and learning that is driven by the needs of the industry. Bridget is excited that the Academy’s offer will assist people to progress their careers by offering a range of technical and generic management courses and qualifications as well as CIOB certification of specialist competencies.
Holly is leading the Academy, she’s an engineer, and has been leading teams to create commercial and internal training and education for nearly a decade. Holly is delighted to champion teachers who have worked in industry, with courses, certification and free CPD designed by industry and for industry. To develop great people, for her, means to really recognise academic knowledge is only the start of the learning journey. Knowing how to deliver the job, must compliment this, and be embedded in our teaching. Holly has worked with many SME’s and global construction firms developing their people. Her aim is to help people grow in confidence and gain the experience they need by ensuring the Academy courses meet industry needs.
Naheda is our front of house at the CIOB Academy London office. She’s a friendly and organised administrator and usually your first point of contact on the phone or on our courses.
Kirsten has developed training courses and seminars for many years and also gets involved with targeted forums and campaigns in more specific areas of construction. She heads up a small team dealing with the short training courses featured in the Academy programme. Kirsten is very interested in including new courses and would like to hear from members regarding their training requirements.
Lesley has been working at the CIOB for twenty six years and is a very experienced event organiser and administrator. She has organised a large variety of events within her career and is currently part of a small team who will be working closely with and supporting the Academy.
