CIOB Academy CPD

A Practical Approach for Managing Projects and Resumption in SE Asia

£15.00

Description

In this panel discussion, which is a collaboration between the CIOB and HKA, experts from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, discuss how the COVID 19 outbreak has created unprecedented complexity and challenges in the construction landscape in the region. Many construction projects have experienced delays, disruption and even suspension, which is likely to result in increased costs in terms of financing, management, and labour cost. Contractors need to make many adjustments for performing work, and to comply with additional safety measures at the same time. Many projects have obtained approval to resume but challenges are still ahead.

  2. Narendra Adiyasa, Partner, Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung in association with Herbert Smith Freehills

Decision Making and Leadership

CIOB Conservation Conference

New ideas for tough times

The theme of this year's annual conference is balancing conservation needs against rising costs. It is ideal for professionals involved in historic or traditional buildings as well as homeowners who are embarking on their own project.

We have drawn together leading experts from the UK and Europe who will give delegates the inside track on how these projects were successfully delivered and how they can apply what was learned to their own decision making.
