Overview
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on communities across the globe, including the construction industry. As construction workers returned to job sites during the pandemic, it became clear how important the industry is, both socially and economically. In response to the crisis, the industry played a critical role in building hospitals in a matter of days. However, now there is a need to think differently about the future of the construction industry.
What will the construction industry look like post-pandemic? How does the built environment sector need to change to meet the changing needs of society? How can the industry adapt to future-proof both the industry and the buildings it creates? These are important questions that must be considered by organisations in the construction industry.
