Heritage Restoration – The SPAB Approach to Conservation
Description
In this presentation Malcolm Slocombe MA FSA IHBC, Director of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB), covers the importance of using the correct procedures when conserving heritage properties. This particular project, known as the SPAB's Old House Project, involves the repair and re-use of a Grade II listed building that has lain empty for 50 years. The Old House Project will be combined, this summer, with a large-scale working party for volunteers at Boxley Abbey.
