Description

Approximately 950,000 people in the construction industry may fall within the category of underrepresented groups. No matter what group a person may belong to, now is the time to learn and collaborate to shape a more positive industry. If you choose to work in the construction industry, you become part of a driving workforce that contributes to positive change.

Students entering the construction industry within the next couple of years have the vision and drive to see these changes through. It is therefore those who already work within the industry who must ensure that everyone feels welcome and is able to begin their journey in a positive manner.

With talks from the CIOB, RICS, SWWIC, Kier Construction, Building Plymouth and many others, attendees can see how governmental bodies, companies and individuals are actively influencing the industry to change.

This learning activity can contribute to your annual CPD return and should be logged accordingly.
