Understanding Site Visits
Construction of this new Primary School took place alongside a live school environment, which involved careful site visit planning so as not to affect the school’s day-to-day operations. Community engagement was also an important factor.
Tom Weedon MCIOB and Guy Scott, both from Morgan Sindall, offer an insight into this new build project enabling viewers to understand the processes used in the build. The project embraces the DfE’s objectives toward net zero carbon, achieved through sustainable design and construction processes, including energy efficiency and less reliance on gas by using air source heat pump technology.
This CPD consists of 2 recorded presentations and site visits at different stages of the project, approximately 10 months apart.
