‘Remastering the Future’ will bring to life the UK’s capabilities in preserving old buildings and adapting them for future use. At a time when land is scarce and there are demands for building stock to be retained, the construction industry has to respond with quality and ethical standards, encourage skills through training and apprenticeships and embrace new innovations. The world is turning to the UK following a number of successes with restoring iconic buildings and this programme will showcase the opportunities and specialist capabilities that has driven this.
