At the start of February 2026, the CIOB is launching a new CPD Policy to align with wider industry standards and best practice. Until these changes are live Members won’t be able to add new activities to their 2026 record and will have until the end of January to complete their 2025 records.
Description
This CPD explains the importance of planning ahead for temporary works and the associated legalities. Simon Smith MICE FIStructE from Contractors’ Design Services will cover terminology, current best practice, legal matters and then follow up with a couple of case studies to show both how not to do it and how to do it correctly!
This learning activity can contribute to your annual CPD return and should be logged accordingly.
