Summary

CIOB is the world's largest and most influential professional body for construction management and leadership, and membership is recognised around the globe. Completing the Chartered Membership Programme is your stepping stone to becoming MCIOB.

The Chartered Membership Programme (CMP) is a distance learning, online e-learning course designed for flexibility. While the course runs over six months, the distance learning format allows you to work through the materials at your own pace.

To support your learning, live webinars are held after each unit, providing an opportunity to reinforce key concepts. Additionally, you’ll have access to a dedicated forum where you can engage with your trainer and fellow delegates, ask questions, and seek clarification throughout the course.

Overview

The Chartered Membership Programme is a 6-month e-learning pathway to becoming MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Building).

This educational course focuses on developing your skills in planning and timelining construction projects. Explore the key factors which slow construction projects and learn effective strategies to overcome them.

Course modules will also dive into existing legal frameworks, and your role in ensuring your projects adhere to these important codes and regulations. Alongside these administrative teachings, the Chartered Membership Programme will also explore the latest wave of technologies and develop participant understanding of the latest ground-engineering techniques.

Gain a complete understanding of best practices from a pre-concept stage to the execution and development stages, all whilst paving your way to the prestigious MCIOB title, even if you don’t already have a degree to start with.

Members gain 10 CIOB CPD points when you reflect on the ethical aspects of your learning from this activity.
