£0.00

Description

Recorded live, our speakers discussed the Government’s white paper “Planning for the Future” which sets out a vision of a planning system that delivers high-quality housing across England to support “levelling up”, as well as get first-time buyers on the property ladder. They discussed what is the role of design?   What can the built environment sector do to support high quality and good design? What are the next steps for the sector and the Government to ensure good design is central to development?  How will the new system be able to stop poorly designed proposals being built? How will the new system interact with the new Building Safety regime?

Decision Making and Leadership

CIOB Conservation Conference

New ideas for tough times

The theme of this year's annual conference is balancing conservation needs against rising costs. It is ideal for professionals involved in historic or traditional buildings as well as homeowners who are embarking on their own project.

We have drawn together leading experts from the UK and Europe who will give delegates the inside track on how these projects were successfully delivered and how they can apply what was learned to their own decision making.
