Our online sessions will use the FIDIC suite of contracts to discuss the fundamentals of construction projects, construction contracts, and construction claims and how the COVID-19 Global Pandemic has changed our understanding of project procurement, liabilities, variations, and performance.
The 4 hour course will cover the following topics:
• Project Management
• Subcontracting
• Variations
• Limitations of Liability
Each topic will be broken down into a one-hour lecture, with a FIDIC based case study.
Attendees on the course will develop an understanding of the licensing risks and design liabilities associated with constructing a built asset. Attendees that complete the course will be able to recommend strategies for the procurement, construction, and commissioning of construction projects in the post Covid-19 new normal.
